When we run a BOGO or “Buy One, Get One 50% Off” sale, the discount always applies to the cheapest eligible item(s) in your cart.

In other words, it’s “buy one, get the lowest-priced eligible item free or 50% off.” This is similar to most retail offers that say “of equal or lesser value.”

Why didn’t my “Buy 1, Get 2nd 50% Off” apply to the second of the same item?

Our “Buy 1, Get the 2nd 50% Off” promotions are applied across all eligible items in your cart. When multiple qualifying items are included, the discount is automatically applied to the lowest-priced eligible item(s) (not necessarily the second of the same product).

Example: If your cart includes two $20 treats and several $1 treats, the system will apply the 50% discount to the cheaper treat(s) first. That can make it look like the second $20 treat didn’t receive a discount, even though the promotion did apply.

Promos can’t be combined with cart-level discounts (points, subscriptions, first Autoship).

You can use multiple promotions in the same order (e.g., RAWZ BOGO and Fromm BOGO), as long as each promo is applied within its own eligible product group. You can’t mix brands/products to trigger a promo (e.g., RAWZ + Fromm won’t count as a BOGO pair).

Discounts are also not stackable. Item-level promos (sale, BOGO, 50% off, coupons) can’t be combined with cart-level discounts like loyalty point redemptions, subscription discounts, or first Autoship discounts. Our system will apply the best eligible option, but it won’t stack discounts.

Example: You can buy RAWZ BOGO (RAWZ + RAWZ) and Fromm BOGO (Fromm + Fromm) in the same order. But you can’t mix brands to create a BOGO pair, and you can’t combine promos with points, subscriptions, or first Autoship discounts.

Toronto Pets digital gift cards are only valid for purchases made on our online store at torontopet.ca.

They cannot be redeemed or used as payment at any of our Toronto Pets physical store locations.

Local Delivery

At Toronto Pets we are now happy to offer FREE same-day local delivery for all online dog supplies and cat supplies orders within the city of the Toronto Pets store location (25km) over $69+

All orders placed before 12pm will arrive same-day, and an order placed after 1pm, will arrive the next day between 3pm - 6pm.

If your order is below $69, we still offer same-day delivery for a fee or you can schedule a delivery at a time and date that is convenient for you, at checkout.

Once an order is placed, you will be continuously updated, via text message, throughout the process until your pet supplies order arrives at your door.

If you have scheduled a delivery time when the order will arrive within that specific time window.

No, not all local delivery is free.

We offer FREE local delivery on orders with a cart subtotal of $69.99 or more (after discounts and loyalty points, before tax) within 25 km of the Toronto Pets store location.

Orders below $69.99 or more than 25 km from the Toronto Pets store location will incur a small delivery fee, which will be shown at checkout.

As of right now, we deliver all dog supplies and cat supplies available on the Toronto Pets store online across the entire Greater Toronto Area, and beyond within 50km of the Toronto Pets store location.

Loyalty & Rewards FAQs

To sign-up for the 'Toronto Pets Loyalty Points' program to start earning points on every purchase, simply sign-in to your Toronto Pets account using the 'account' button which is in the top right corner.

Then, using the 'rewards' widget at the bottom right of the screen, view your account.

Once your Toronto Pets account is opened & linked, you will be able to access your Toronto Pets rewards dashboard and start earning points on every purchase!

Promos can’t be combined with cart-level discounts (points, subscriptions, first Autoship).

Loyalty points are earned through all online & in-store purchases.

Loyalty points are redeemable on all online & in-store purchases.

Once you complete an online order, you can check your 'Rewards Dashboard' located in the bottom right hand of the screen to view your points balance.

'Frequent Buyer' rewards are handled on a case by case basis. If you are curious about your progress on a specific product, please come visit us in-store or email us.

Points are accumulated on every purchase made and can be used on any online or in-store purchase through Toronto Pets.

Yes! You can use Toronto Pets Rewards loyalty points when purchasing items from Toronto Pets.

To be eligible for free local delivery, the final purchase value of your online order (after discounts and loyalty points are applied) must still be $69.99 or more.

Promos can’t be combined with cart-level discounts (points, subscriptions, first Autoship).

Please note:

  • Loyalty point redemptions are treated as an entire-order discount and cannot be combined with item-level promotions (such as sale prices, BOGO, or “Buy One, Get One 50% Off”) in the same order.
  • Redeemed loyalty points cannot be applied to subscription items — they can only be used on one-time purchases.

If your cart includes items on promotion, you’ll need to choose either:

  • to keep the item-level promotions without using loyalty points, or
  • to remove the promotional discounts and use your loyalty points toward a regular-priced order.
