Use the feeding chart as an initial guide and adjust according to your dog’s age, activity level, body condition, and individual needs. Puppies 1½ to 3 months old should be fed twice the recommended adult amount, puppies 3 to 6 months should receive 1½ times the adult amount, and puppies 6 to 11 months should receive 1¼ times the adult amount. During gestation, increase the recommended adult amount by 25% to 50%. During lactation, feed free-choice. Always provide clean, fresh water.
